Bartolomé Abellán

He is the winemaker at Bodegas Juan Gil and the technical director of Viñas Familia Gil. Born in Jumilla in 1978, he holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Murcia and a Master's degree in Oenology. His career has been within the Group since 2003. He furthered his education with experiences in Australia, working in Barossa with Chris Ringland; in Chile, in Alto Cachapoal (Bodegas Anakena); and in New Zealand with Alistair in Martinborough. He is responsible for developing and coordinating the R&D projects at Viñas Familia Gil.
